"The Lincor Story"

Lincor Solutions are pioneers in point-of-care computing.

Founded in 2003, Lincor has gained international recognition for its flagship bedside

point-of-care solution - MEDIVista. This is a computerized gateway to hospital-wide

services which eliminates cumbersome and outdated paper-based processes in turn

for secure, patient-safe procedures with real-time data and clinical functionality.

In addition patients can access a range of digital entertainment services. All of this

can be accessed from a compact touch screen monitor located at each patient bedside.

Today the MEDIVista solution is integrated in over 60 hospitals serving 15,000 patient

beds across 15 countries throughout EMEA and North America - Lincor is also actively

developing solutions for Telemedicine with many of the capabilities of MEDIVista

available for remote clinical management of patients at home.

Lincor has partnered with some leading names in systems integration and ICT solutions

such as Telus, Alcatel-Lucent, Mitel and others. Lincor operates from two Technology

Centres in Dublin and Cork, with international offices in Toronto.

During his time at Apple, Enda was responsible for test engineering, hardware design and

hardware research and development. He also had management responsibility for a number

of key development teams creating multimedia peripherals for Apple's Macintosh range of

products. He oversaw the creation of the first digital satellite receiver system in Ireland, as

well as the design and delivery of the first TV/Teletext/Radio peripheral for Apple's

worldwide suite of products. Enda held the position of Hardware development manager

at Netnote International from 1998 to 2003.

He is a co-founder of Lincor Solutions Ltd and currently holds the position of CTO.

After the meeting, there will be a networking opportunity with light refreshments served.
