We are delighted to have as our Executive Guest Speaker:

Dan Kiely,

Co-founder and Former Chief Exceutive of Voxpro

Voxpro was founded in 1999 by Dan and Linda Kiely, with a start-up team of 6 people. Headquarters in Cork, it developed offices in Dublin, Sacramento, San Francisco and Bucharest. Voxpro focuses on customer service – but for companies that fit with its vision.

In August 2017, TELUS International acquired a 55pc stake in the company, which then operated as ‘Voxpro – powered by TELUS International’. As of December 2019, TELUS International acquired the remaining 45pc in the fast-growing Cork-based business process outsourcing company. Since the initial deal with Telus, Voxpro has seen its workforce grow from 2,700 employees to more than 6,000.

Voxpro provides high-end call-centre operations for fast-growing tech companies, offering multilingual product support, technical support and specialist services in safety, risk, analytics and social media management for client firms. The company landed contracts with Silicon Valley up-and-comers, including the €60m-funded stock-trading app Robinhood. It also boasted global giants such as Google and Airbnb on its client list.

Dan’s explained a winning formula for VoxPro as: “When we work with new companies, we understand the importance of aligning our own vision and culture with theirs. We know that these organisations don’t just want a service provider – they want a partner. So, we immerse ourselves in our clients and in our clients’ customers. This then manifests itself in everything we do – from the training and development of our team members to the physical environment itself. In essence, we become our clients,”

Over the years Dan & Linda Kiely received many awards and in particular Voxpro was named as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’ companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme. This award recognizes indigenous firms in Ireland “operating at the highest levels of business performance

Dan also commented  ‘Some people may deny it, but in entrepreneurship, luck features in everyone’s journey’

After selling Voxpro,  the entrepreneur is now backing start-ups and is developing a philanthropic foundation
