Pat joined Moog in 2000 as Engineering Manager in Cork. He took on a variety of roles within the Cork operation before being appointed General Manager in 2003. He joined Industrial Group as the Director Core Product Development and Supply Chain and was appointed a Group Vice President in 2007.

Between 2009 and 2010, Pat held a further responsibility as Managing Director of Moog in Bangalore. In this role, he integrated the facility into Industrial Group as a focus factory for servo motors manufacture. He led the development and deployment of a process framework for Research, Technology and Development between 2009 and 2012.

In 2011, his role was expanded to include additional accountability for the Group IT function (Director of Technology and Infrastructure). Pat was appointed an Officer of the company and Corporate Vice President for Global Systems and Services in 2012. In this role, he was accountable for Information Technology enterprise-wide and for several other shared services.

In Sep 2015, Pat was appointed President – Industrial Group, a segment with more than $500MM revenue and 2500+ staff in 22 countries.

Prior to joining Moog, Pat had worked for Philips in The Netherlands; a technology consultancy in the UK; University College Cork and the National Microelectronics Research Centre (now Tyndall); and a start-up Lumin8.

Pat holds electrical engineering and business degrees from University College Cork.
He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland.

Pat is a former Chairman of the Cork Electronics Industry Association and former director
of the Irish Research and Development Group (IRDG Ltd.).
