Logitech International is a world leader and global provider of personal computer peripherals, driving innovation in PC navigation, Internet communications, digital music, home-entertainment control, gaming and wireless devices. It is a Swiss public company, founded in Oct 1981, with its headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (LOGN) and on the Nasdaq Global Select Market (LOGI). In 2017 Logitech realised revenues of USD $2.22B achieving product distribution in more than 100 countries.

Logitech Ireland has just celebrated 30 years in Cork. Since its establishment in 1988, Logitech has evolved to support the needs of, and drive value for, the broader Logitech International group. Initially achieving a Best in Class manufacturing facility in the early ‘90s with over 400 employees.

The facility transferred its manufacturing operation to China in the mid ‘90s and since then the Irish location has developed a principal subsidiary within Logitech International responsible for high value add activities such as Design, Mechanical Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Global Sustainability, HR Shared Services, IT Support and Financial Shared Services. Logitech Ireland currently has more than 140 employees, almost doubling its initial workforce since moving to its State of the Art Design Studio and premises at Airport Business Park. Maintaining the value add and excellence of Corks’ activities continues to be a key focus of the collective site.

The Logitech people you will meet on the evening have been instrumental in shaping what Logitech Cork is today and look forward to sharing their journey to date and some of their plans for the future.

Don’t miss this opportunity to attend.

After the presentation, there will be a brief facility tour followed by the usual networking opportunity with light refreshments served.
