Marguerite Sayers

Marguerite Sayers, Deputy Chief Executive of ESB

Marguerite was appointed Deputy Chief Executive of ESB in July 2022. Immediately prior to this, she held the role of Executive Director, Customer Solutions from 2018. She has worked in various technical and managerial positions in ESB for over 30 years, including ESB Generation Manager, Head of Asset Management for ESB Networks and Managing Director of ESB Networks DAC. She holds a degree in electrical engineering from UCC, is a Chartered Director, a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow and Past President of Engineers Ireland and a Fellow of the Academy of Engineers. She is also member of the Board of Energy UK, the Energy Institute and of the Dingle Hub and is a Trustee of the Irish Times.
